Educational Objectives:

1) Apply action method techniques within individual and group psychotherapy sessions for persons with Intellectual Disabilities.
2) Identify the four stages of an Interactive-Behavioral Therapy group process.
3) Recognize indications and contra-indications for the use of various action methods.

Educational Objectives
This is an experiential workshop designed to help practitioners learn the basics of psychodramatic techniques.
1) Describe at least three psychodramatic methods that enhance therapeutic factors in group settings.
2) Demonstrate the psychodramatic methods of empty chair, role reversal, doubling and auxiliary in individual and group psychotherapy.
3) Explain the indications and contraindications in using these methods, and learn modification for use with the IBT model.
4) Employ the experience of doubling to promote empathy and emotional support
