Daniel J. Tomasulo, Ph.D.

Daniel J. Tomasulo, Ph.D., TEP, MFA is a psychologist, psychodrama trainer and writer on faculty atNew Jersey City University and formerly a visiting faculty member on fellowship at Princeton University. He has gained international recognition for development of IBT, the Interactive-Behavioral Model of group psychotherapy for people with intellectual and psychiatric disabilities. He is a consultant for YAI, National Institute for People with Disabilities in New York City and on the editorial board for the journal Mental Health Aspects of Developmental Disabilities. He was also a consulting editor for The Journal of Group Psychotherapy. Psychodrama, and Sociometry, and recipient of their Innovator's Award for development of the IBT Model.
He is the author of Action Methods in Group Psychotherapy as well as numerous articles on group psychotherapy. His new book Healing Trauma: The Power of Group Treatment for People with Intellectual Disabilities was co-authored with Dr. Razza and was recently published by the American Psychological Association.

He is also winner of the New School University's Chapbook Award for creative non-fiction for his work: Kettle of Fish, and his memoir, Confessions of a Former Child: A Therapist's Memoir, was recently published by Graywolf publishers. Drs. Razza & Tomasulo are the first psychologists to be honored as Statewide Healthcare Providers by the ARC of New Jersey (2005), and are recipients of the Scholar's Award from the American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama.

Nancy J. Razza, Ph.D., CGP

Nancy J. Razza, Ph.D., CGP is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified group psychotherapist. She maintains a private practice in Red Bank, New Jersey. A corresponding focus includes a twenty-five year commitment to individuals with intellectual disabilities. She has designed and implemented mental health treatment programs for this population and supervises the training of mental health professionals in this specialized area. She has authored articles and chapters on dual diagnosis, trauma, sexual offense, sexual victimization, and psychological assessment. Dr. Razza serves on the editorial board for Mental Health Aspects of Developmental Disabilities. She has also developed a working model of sexual abuse avoidance training using sociodrama, which was featured on the CBS program "48 Hours".

She is the lead author of Healing Trauma: The Power of Group Treatment for People with Intellectual Disabilities recently published by the American Psychological Association.
